• NASA’s EarthRISE Developers Academy: a summer program (June 1-August 7) with interdisciplinary teams to build applied GIS and Earth observation solutions. Application deadline is March 6, 2026.

• The RAY Fellowship offers recent college graduates two-year, full-time paid placements with environmental and climate organizations.

• 🇨🇦 Amii’s new AI for Earth Scholarship Program, supported by Environment and Climate Change Canada, is training students and early-career researchers in AI skills for satellite and Earth observation data applications. Applications are due March 31, 2026.

• Applications are now open for ECMWF Code for Earth 2026. Participants can building open-source tools for climate, atmosphere, and early warning systems. Applications due April 9, 2026.

• Graduate students and postdocs can apply to Rossbypalooza 2026 (July 20–31, UChicago), a two-week, project-focused summer school on Earth system predictability. Applications close April 24, 2026.

• NASA’s INNOVATE program offers awards of up to $1M over 3 years to develop Earth observation tools and products.

• NISAR recently released over 100,000 additional Level-1 to Level-3 L-band products, greatly expanding global coverage for integration into research and operational applications (available through Vertex and NASA Earthdata Search).
